" Always polite! Arnp, Kathy Hershberger is has great bedside manner and explains the diagnosis in explicit detail and whereas a patient can understand exactly whats tramspiring before them (me). "

" Doctor and her staff make you feel very comfortable not like a patient. It makes taking care of yourself alot easier. Wish more doctors had the same attitudes towards their patients. "

" Dr. Rider & PA Hershberger have been treating me since ?end of January/early February? While amputation is becoming likely, I know they have worked not only trying to improve the wound, but emotionally prepare me for potential outcome(s). My belief is they would not have me pursuing their prescribed treatment if not a possibility of improving the wound & my health. Entire clinic staff works well together! "

" I sent a survey last week and was unable to remember the new nurse's name. Her name is Sarah. She provided me excellent care. She treats me like a real person and understands the clinic is my Safe Place where I can cry and be silly, because it helps with the pain. I want to give a special shout out again to nurse Pat. He came out to get an older lady who was waiting on her appointment. She was in a wheelchair. She said to Pat as he was wheeling her into treatment that it was a 'little cold in here'. He immediately said "well, I will get you a blanket here and get you comfortable". He then asked her if she wanted to lay in the reclining chair or stay in her wheelchair, and how he could make her comfortable. I thought this was so NICE. This is the way I am treated, also. With dignity and respect for the WHOLE PERSON and not just what is going on with the ulcers and wounds. Another special mention of course to my favorite lady, Kellie, who is one of the best RN's around. She is so gentle, like Pat, and kind. Dr. Lo is an asset to St. Francis Advanced Wound Care. Her knowledge, respect of the patient, her sense of humor and her diligent care reflects on not just the hospital but herself as a physician and a person. I know they worry about the wait time sometimes, but do 'you want it fast or do you want it good'. I do have a special request. I would like for the Chief of Staff and the Hospital Administrator to go to the Wound Clinic and recognize this group. Dr. Lo, Dr. Rider, Kellie, Sarah, and Pat, Jennifer, and the Clinic Director. They need to be recognized as a top clinic. If I could contact JCAHO directly and tell them about how awesome this clinic is I would. Thank you. And I hope the Chief and Administrator will take the time to do so. They deserve more than just a good comment from the website. Thank you for the excellent continued care I have received in this clinic since it was formed. I have been here MANY TIMES in the past 4-6 years. I don't like being sick with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis, Chronic Fatigue and wounds that don't heal, but they make it tolerable when I see their smiles and get hugs. Thank you again. "
